Topic planning

The Early Years follow a child-initiated approach to topic teaching. This is built up of different termly topics and then expanded on and developed through children’s interests, questions and play.

 

‘Each area of learning and development must be implemented through planned, purposeful play and through a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activity.
