At Boothstown Methodist Primary School our RE curriculum is designed to engage pupils in significant questions which religion and worldviews address. We want to celebrate the rich and diverse community that we are all a part of and provide our pupils with the breadth of knowledge and skills to be able to understand the world around them. RE helps to equip our pupils with vital life skills such as resilience, assertiveness, self-esteem and emotional wellness.
At Boothstown Methodist Primary School we follow the Agreed Revised Syllabus for Religious Education and extend our curriculum further through the R.E Today scheme of work and Methodist Units. This scheme is in line with the ethos of our school in building community and supporting the strong links with our Methodist Church.
